Fondazione Bondarev: New Art Residency Opens on Bali, Bridging Indonesian Heritage and Contemporary Art
06.06.2026 — Fondazione Bondarev, a new art residency, has officially opened its doors on the island of Bali. The project creates a unique dialogue between Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage and contemporary artistic practices, offering a living space for artists and an open platform for the public.
Fondazione Bondarev combines a residential studio with an exhibition space, where the founder’s personal art practice meets a curated collection of works by other local and international artists. Unlike traditional galleries, the residency invites visitors into the authentic environment where art is conceived and created — offering an immersive experience in the artist’s world.
